North Texas Supercharger Parties

It's been quite a Spring filled with Superchargers in North Texas, with the Southlake Supercharger and the Plano & Dallas Urban Superchargers opening in the past two months. It's exciting news and we are always ready to celebrate with a party!

Don't have time to hear the whole story? Check out this three minute video!

We began our day in Southlake at Southlake Town Square at 8:30 am to enjoy Breakfast à la Frunk and mingled with Tesla and other EV owners. Fifty-one cars and 122 people joined us.

At 9:00 am we celebrated the Southlake Supercharger with Mayor Laura Hill, Councilmember Christopher Archer and Bailey Muller, Air Quality Planner from North Central Texas Council of Governments, with a ribbon cutting. After that, we socialized and prepared for our road trip to Plano.

The Southlake event was covered by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Tesla Supercharger stations expand to three DFW locations) and by MySouthlakeNews.com (Charged and Ready: Tesla Supercharger Station Opens in Southlake Town Square).

Thirty-seven cars made the road trip to Plano, which was great fun, as we could do the speed limit on the Sam Rayburn Tollway and made a great convoy of Teslas, including ten Model 3s!.

At Plano's The Shops at Legacy, we made some remarks, marveled at the trashcans provided at both RPAI properties, had Tristan cut the ribbon and then we split off for lunch.

On the way down to Dallas, we passed the new Plano Tesla Service Center and endured the traffic to get to the Dallas Supercharger. The lot was packed, so we parked where we could and set up in front of Houndstooth coffee to have our final ribbon cutting, augmented with a toast of the finest sparkling grape juice.

Thanks to Insolation Station for the great videos of our day!
